The US Food and Drug Administration has issued a warning letter to men who use “viagra without prescription” after men who use Viagra (the brand name for a generic version of the drug) failed to find the drug effective in treating their condition.
The letter, issued in January, will appear on the agency’s website.
The letter will appear on the agency’s website on Thursday, January 5, and will be posted in a new “Content” section on the Web site. The agency said the FDA will consider any changes to the drug’s labeling and will then submit a warning letter to the agency.
In the letter, the FDA said that Viagra is safe and effective for use in women. The FDA also said that women who are pregnant or may become pregnant must not use the drug to have an unborn child.
It added that a “black box warning” appeared on the label that includes the warning about the “risk of fetal harm if used while pregnant.”
According to the FDA, women who are trying to get pregnant should not use Viagra unless they are planning a baby.
If a woman uses Viagra during the first trimester of pregnancy, she must not use it and must be aware of the risks.
“Viagra is a safe medication for use by women and it should only be used when there is a concern about the fetal risks to a woman or to her unborn child. This is a medical issue and women should not use Viagra for the treatment of pregnancy and breastfeeding mothers,” the letter said.
The FDA has not given a black box warning on its drug labels or on the drug’s labeling.
The FDA said that the drug’s labels will not change, but that the FDA will consider any changes to the drug’s labeling.
